Bill Thompson III to speak in Columbus

Bill Thompson III (right) with birding legend Jon Dunn at the glacial grooves on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie. Bill is editor of Bird Watcher's Digest, prolific author, musician, blogger, and in-demand speaker. And it is the latter role that brings him to Columbus, Ohio next Monday evening, April 11, to speak before the Columbus Natural History Society. He'll be presenting a program entitled No Child Left Inside: Birds as a Doorway to Nature. This talk works off his popular book, The Young Birder's Guide to Birds of Eastern North America. This will be an entertaining and memorable program, and I'd encourage you to attend. And if you have kids, bring 'em. The program starts at 7:30 in the auditorium of the Ohio State University's Museum of Biological Diversity. Directions HERE.
