Peck's Skipper, an invasion?

 

A Peck's skipper (Polites peckius) dangles acrobatically from a mistflower plant in my front yard. I have seen up to 15 of the gorgeous little skippers at once in the past month - by far the most that I've ever seen here. They love the mistflower (Conoclinium coelistinum), as do many other species of butterflies. This plant is really easy to grow - one may even have to occasionally rein it in - and it is a butterfly magnet.
